How to rate a video:



When you click on a video, you can see stars on the bottom left of the video. This is the overall or average rating of the video as given by users. You can also add your own rating. Just click the stars-1 star for the lowest and 5 stars for the highest.



How to make your public videos private:



This is an option if you want your videos to be seen only by selected people. First, sign in to your YouTube account. Next, go to My Videos. Scroll down to the Broadcast section and choose the Private option. Then choose the particular contact list or individual you want to view the video. Lastly, click the Update Video Info button.



How to add tags to your videos:



Tags refer to the keywords or key phrases that describe your video and make it easier for users and search engines to find your video. To add tags to your videos, start by signing in to YouTube. In the My Videos section, click the link to Uploaded Videos. In the section, Video Information (left hand corner of the page), place the keywords relevant to your video content. Then click the Save Changes button.



How to upload a video:



Before uploading your video on YouTube, make sure it's less than 10 minutes, smaller than 1G in size and in the acceptable format. To upload a video, click the button in the upper-right-hand corner on any YouTube page. Click Browse to look through the file you want uploaded. Select the file. Click the Upload Video button. Uploading then starts. Then click Save Changes button to save.

Anyone who has signed on to YouTube can view his/her personal info on his/her Channel or Profile page. It is a central location where other users can see your public videos, favorites, comments, your basic profile, etc. This makes it easier for others to message you, share a channel, add comments to your channel or add you as a friend.

If you specifically want to create a playlist from your account, you can follow these steps. First, go to your Account page and click on the Playlists link under My Videos. Click the Create Playlist button (left column of the page) and set the properties for your playlist. Lastly, click the Save Playlist info button.
